No, you won't!
You'll use a tool. Then a person with a brain, a voice, needs and wants, problems and desires, who is on your team will decide whether the output is good enough to ship. You'd better not skip this second part. That's where accessibility gets dangerous.
Accessibility work is full of judgment calls.
Is this descriptive text useful for this image in this context? Does this error message help someone recover? Does this interaction make sense when you cannot see the screen? Does the page still work when your hands, eyes or attention are under strain?
AI doesn't care. It won't care because it can't. It has no problems, needs, wants or desires. It can't relate to any of us. It has no responsibility to your customers either.
Use AI if it helps you. Let it draft, scan, compare or suggest things.
But stop pretending you handed the work to someone else.
You handed it to software. The responsibility stayed with you.
