Over one year of daily accessibility

1 minute read

Earlier this week, I passed my one year mark.

I've sent 365 emails to my daily accessibility mailing list without missing a single day.

Some emails were fun to write. Some were a nuisance (I literally wrote them at the last second).

Some emails, I hovered over the Publish button not knowing whether I should press it or not. Some weren't that good. A few I really loved.

All emails boosted my confidence. All showed me how much I still have to learn. By the way, you can review any of them in my Daily Archive.

I don't regret sending any of them. If I hadn't pressed Publish, I wouldn't have met some of you and connected with so many wonderful people.

So thank you for welcoming me in your inbox every day!

It's customary to say something like "here's to the next 365." Let's just see what tomorrow brings (hint: it's another Sunday joke). I'll take it one day at a time and will pat myself on the back in another 365 days.

Until then, keep making room for everyone!

Did you enjoy this bite-sized message?

I send out short emails like this every day to help you gain a fresh perspective on accessibility and understand it without the jargon, so you can build more robust products that everyone can use, including people with disabilities.

You can unsubscribe in one click and I will never share your email address.
